For the summer, Temple City once again proudly presents Wild West Summer Concerts in the Park.
The performing arts pavilion will set the stage every Wednesday for a parade of musical hits that’s both entertaining and relaxing. These concerts are suitable for children and adults of all ages and absolutely free for the residents of Temple City.
The concerts are held every Wednesday evening for the 2012 Summer Concert Series at the Temple City Park located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive. The concerts start at approximately 7:00 pm but it is recommended for everyone to arrive by 6:15 to take part of pre-concert activities with Shape Up TC, raffles, and giveaways.
Parking and places to sit are also very difficult to find, so come early and dodge all the stress and hassle. Also bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating on the grass, and enjoy a variety of free, family-friendly concerts. Concessions are also available for purchase from community non-profit organizations.
On July 11, it was Beatles Tribute and played by band called The Silver Beatles. Families all sat around the pavilion enjoying a warm summer evening and listening to some of the best genres of music made.
“It’s absolutely great, Temple City resident Sharon Suuz said, “The environment is just great.”
The pavilion was surrounded by audience members who just all seemed like they were having a good time.
“I love these concerts, Temple City resident Kay Trein said, “It’s great for families and I enjoy listening to the different types of music each week.”
So hopefully next Wednesday, instead of sitting at home, come and enjoy these wonderful bands play some wonderful music. Next Wednesday July 18, the singer, Raymond Michael, will have a Tribute to Elvis.
