To help fund the Temple City High School Grad Nite 2011, the Grad Nite Committee of 2011 will host a free e- waste recycling event.
This event will be held on Saturday and Sun-day, November 6th and 7th, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It will be held at the Temple City High School stu-dent parking lot, 9501 E. Lemon Ave.
The event will be assisted by Global Recyclers, a state-approved disposal and recycling company.
For the upcoming e-waste event, they will be accepting: Desktop computers, Laptops,’ Servers, Stor-age Discs, Printers, Scanners, Computer cards, Net-working Equipment, Televisions, CRT Monitors and Pe-ripherals, Speakers, Chips and Components, Cellular and Desk Phones, Fax Machines and Copiers, Power Supply Units, Connectors and Cables, and Consumer Electronics.
However, Global Recycling will not accept the following: household batteries, light bulbs, used oil, paints or cleaning fluids, or appliances such as washers and refrigerators.
This will be an ample opportunity to rid of any unneeded electronics as well as help this year’s high school seniors with their end of the year graduation activities.
“You’ll help raise funds for the TCHS Grad Nite 2011 celebration!” says Donna Georgino of the 2011 Grad Nite Committee.
